The band was called "our distance" and they were awesome live. One of my favorite things about them was how they used three bass drums, and just beat the life out of them. I have to find a new art/ music scene when i get to provo. Ryan said i could just create my own F.F. just paint something every month, hang it up somewhere and have my friends come look at it. Somehow, i dont think it would be the same.

ReplyDeleteWe have WONDERFUL First Fridays in Provo too.
They are usually kicked off by all the bikers who do "Critical Mass" every first friday of the month and take over the streetsf or about an hour in a massive bake ride . and then everyone just cycles (or walks) over to the downtown/center-street area for the First Friday exhibits/music/gallery stroll. I think about 15-18 or more stores are in on it and display artwork or have bands come play.
It's tons of fun!
We should/will go together when you get here.
