Yesterday I had the blessed opportunity to have my wisdom teeth pulled. Luckily, I only had the ones on the top so I am not in too much pain.
I was awake during the procedure. I has a local anesthetic and laughing gas which, as a matter of fact, does make you laugh.
My Dr. was amazing and I didn't feel a thing. He was really quick and barely made any noise. All I could do was focus on how the room was spinning and how this is how it must feel to be on drugs. Then he was finished! I couldn't believe how quick it was.
Now I am home recovering and eating lots of yogurt and ice cream. I want real food.
It's amazing, but you don't even look that bad. :)
ReplyDeletei hated having mine out but i was much older!
ReplyDeletehope you can make it to the reception!
i need to know the name of your dr. for when caleb has it done.
I thought you looked a little grumpy or out of it or something at the reception--now I know why!
ReplyDeletethe process of removing my wisdom tooth (yes, just the one) was actually really quick and painless, but I was so scared that I had tears streaming down my face the whole time and the nice assistant lady just kept wiping them away. The laughing gas did not make me laugh.
